Garrett M. Johnson

MBA, MHA – Chairperson of the Board of Directors

Mr. Johnson has over 20 years of expertise in healthcare administration and financial operations management, including in-depth analysis of large complex medical claims and payments datasets from government and commercial healthcare entities. He specializes in hospital operations finance, departmental services, human resource management, strategic implementation, claims billing, and insurance contract negotiation. He also has extensive project management experience focusing on quantitative analysis of medical claims data for government and state healthcare programs.

Mr. Johnson received his B.A. from Princeton University and his MBA/MHA from George Washington University.

Philip L. Johnson

MA – CEO-Board of Directors

Mr. Johnson is a visionary leader who has a strong history of executive management in both the private and public sectors. He is an accomplished executive planner and strategist with strong financial skills who understands the application of the art of compromises to achieve stated goals and objectives in private and public sectors of society.

Mr. Johnson has spent the last 40 years as an entrepreneur, primarily as a developer, builder, financial consultant, and CEO of Sustainable Solutions Technologies, LLC in Washington, DC. He holds a master’s degree in urban studies from Occidental College, was a Yale Urban Fellow, and currently is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Climate Institute of Washington, DC.

Marie Mosley

Ms. Mosley is an Information Systems Security Engineer with 27 years of experience in Cybersecurity.  Upon entrance into the United States Air Force in 1996, studying and training in information technology was her selected career path in the military. After transitioning from the United States Air Force in 2001, she worked for General Dynamics Advance Information Systems as a Network Security Manager until 2016.  Responsibilities included managing, monitoring, and administering the security of live weapons systems. The Network Security Manager was accountable for safeguarding the network against unauthorized modification, destruction, and disclosures. Responsibilities also included researching, evaluating, recommending, communicating, and implementing new security software and conducting operations for the weapons system. In 2016, she was promoted to the position of a Network Administrator responsible for maintaining over 250 classified and unclassified systems.  Responsibilities include maintaining the Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) servers for file storage and data backup recovery for over 200 personnel.  Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and repairing the network.  She also performs configuration management and conducts system diagnostics to determine the cause of software hardware failures.

Dr. Shelley Hightower

PharmD – Advisory Board

Dr. Shelley Hightower, a graduate of Florida A&M University, College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, has distinguished herself in the field of pharmacy with a diverse and impactful career. Earning her Bachelor of Science in 1989 and her PharmD in 2002 from this esteemed institution, she has contributed significantly to the field. Dr. Hightower’s professional journey spans various sectors, including retail, hospital, long-term care, home infusion, and teaching. Notably, she has also excelled as an independent Compounding pharmacist.

In her current role as the clinical compounding pharmacist and founder of My Prescription Coach Compounding Pharmacy and Wellness, Dr. Hightower focuses on creating individualized medication solutions for her clients. Her experience across multiple pharmacy disciplines has enabled her to collaborate closely with medical professionals, offering workshops and sharing research insights in the compounding pharmacy domain.

Joann Warrick

Nasir Khattak

Founder & CEO of Microtron Tec
Nasir Khattak is an entrepreneur and environmental and energy policy professional with 25 years of sustainable energy sector experience in international development and in the private sector. He co-founded Microtron as a technology development company in 2016, to commercialize graphene based non-chemical battery technology. Working with the Washington DC based Climate Institute where he serves on the Board now, he worked in over 20 countries and ran the Global Sustainable Energy Islands Initiative that led to a United Nations initiative with project portfolio of over $4 Billion. Nasir has a master’s degree in environmental and Energy Management from George Washington University, Washington DC, and a bachelor’s in civil engineering and a bachelor’s in law & political science from Peshawar, Pakistan.

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University).  Master of Science degree in Information Systems (MSIS) Georgia State University.

BA- Science degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University.

Katie Glance

Board of Directors – Chief Strategy Officer

Katie graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College and completed the Tuck School of Business Bridge Program. She has a strong record of leading high-impact initiatives across industries. As the Chief Strategy Officer at AI Healthcare Innovators, she leads strategic initiatives to drive the company’s mission of revolutionizing healthcare with AI. With expertise in AI-driven solutions, data analytics, and corporate strategy, Katie helps position the company for growth and innovation. Concurrently, Katie works at a management consulting firm, where she helped develop an AI-driven solution to optimize cost efficiency and cut data analysis time in half. Additionally, Katie is a board member at the Climate Institute, where she runs their educational program, the Center for Environmental Leadership Training. Previously, she has held roles in investment analysis for a firm focused on entrepreneurship through acquisition of SaaS companies.

Dr. Alexander H. Bland

PharmD, RPh – Board of Directors

Alexander H. Bland is a clinical pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Mercer University School of Pharmacy (2004). He is board-certified in Medication Therapy Management (2021) and has extensive expertise in healthcare systems and pharmacy operations.With over two decades of experience, Alexander holds senior clinical roles in prominent health systems, including Emory Health System as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist and Wellstar Health System as a Clinical Pharmacist II. His knowledge spans across medication therapy management, clinical pharmacy practice, and healthcare technology integration.Alexander is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Pharmacy Association, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists, where he has been a member since 2006.
